Ice baths, or cold water immersion, are known to reduce muscle soreness and inflammation, improve circulation, boost the immune system, and enhance mental resilience. The shock of the cold water releases endorphins, leaving you feeling invigorated and mentally refreshed.
We recommend starting with a short duration of 1-3 minutes and gradually increasing your time as you become more comfortable. Listen to your body and never push yourself too far. Our staff are on hand to offer guidance and support.
Our ice baths are maintained at a temperature of approximately 2-5°C (35-41°F) to ensure maximum therapeutic benefits.
The hot tub and sauna are excellent for relaxation and recovery. They help to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, detoxify the body through sweating, and reduce stress. The warmth also promotes a sense of calm and well-being.
We recommend starting with 5-10 minutes in the sauna and gradually increasing your time. It’s important not to overdo it, and to cool down in between sessions. A general session shouldn’t exceed 20 minutes.
Many of our guests enjoy the contrast therapy approach, alternating between the cold of the ice bath and the heat of the sauna or hot tub. This is a popular practice that can enhance the benefits of both. We recommend starting with a short cold plunge, followed by a period of heat, and then repeating the cycle.
We advise against using the ice baths, hot tub, or sauna if you have certain medical conditions, including but not limited to, heart conditions, high blood pressure, pregnancy, or respiratory issues. If you have any health concerns, please consult with your doctor before visiting.
Yes, our trained staff are always on-site to assist you, ensure safety, and answer any questions you may have.
